In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Fitzgerald Spartans baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES.
The Spartans (8-6) will now prepare for their game against Roeper (Birmingham, MI). The Roughriders go into the non-league game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, Roeper was edged by Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI), 9-1, in a non-league game.
