The Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) baseball trounced the host Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN), 14-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots encounter the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 26. Jay County will attempt to better on its 13-13 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 5-19 record after their 3-2 league win over New Palestine (New Palestine, IN).
