In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Liberty Christian Lions baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Herron Achaeans.
The Lions (4-18) will now prepare for their game against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 8-12 record. In their last game, Tri-Central was edged by Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN), 10-0, in a non-league game.
The Achaeans (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Purdue Polytechnic (Indianapolis, IN). The Techies go into the non-league game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Purdue Polytechnic tipped Tindley (Indianapolis, IN), 7-2, in a league game.
