In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting South Portland Red Riots lacrosse squad scored a good 18-6 victory over the Portland Bulldogs.
The Red Riots now have a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cape Elizabeth for a Class A South test on Friday, May 26. South Portland will face a Capers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Capers record now stands at 12-1.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Bangor Rams (Bangor, ME) in a Class A North test, on Friday, May 26. Portland will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 19-5 non-league win over John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME).
