New Jersey High School Softball - Allentown holds off Red Bank Regional

Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Redbirds now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steinert for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 26. Allentown will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Red Bank Regional falls to 4-2 on the campaign.
