The Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ) softball routed the host Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ), 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, Matawan Regional toppled Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ), 4-1, in a non-league bout.
