The Pinelands Regional Wildcats the host Toms River South Indians softball squad by a count of 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pioneers go into the non-league battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Pilgrim Academy nudged King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ), 9-1, in a league battle.

The Indians now sport a 4-11 record.
