In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Speedway Sparkplugs softball team scored a nice 18-2 win over the Purdue Polytechnic Techies.

Coming up next, the Sparkplugs battle the Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, May 24. Speedway will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 19-6 record after their 23-0 non-league win over Herron (Indianapolis, IN).
