The Hempfield Black Knights baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Waynesboro Indians to 5 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Black Knights (19-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, Ephrata got by Wilson (West Lawn, PA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Waynesboro falls to 15-6 on the season.
