In Thursday's non-league challenge, the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers (Crawfordsville, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN), by a final score of 8-7.
With the win, North Montgomery upgrades its record to 19-7 on the season. The Chargin' Chargers travel to Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 23-4. Twin Lakes won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN)
With the defeat, Western falls to 22-5 on the season.
