In Thursday's non-league challenge, the River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, River Forest upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Ingots travel to Highland (Highland, IN) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 25.
