Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), 17-1 in a league test.

With the win, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Massabesic (Waterboro, ME) to battle the Mustangs in a Class A South test on Saturday, May 25. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 10-6. Massabesic won 2-0 in their recent league test against Sanford (Sanford, ME)

With the defeat, Westbrook falls to 1-14 on the season. The Blue blazes travel to Deering (Portland, ME) to battle the Rams in a Class A South test on Tuesday, May 28. The Rams come into the test with a record of 5-9.
