Iowa High School Softball - Baxter loses to Colfax-Mingo

The Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks softball squad scored 14 runs and restricted the visiting Baxter to 0 in the Tigerhawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigerhawks (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA). The Bears go into the South Iowa Cedar bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, B-G-M notched a victory over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA), 7-5, in a league bout.
The now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Colo-NESCO for a non-league bout on Friday, May 24. Baxter will confront a Royals squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The Royals record now stands at 0-2.
