Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) and the host Conrad Science Red Wolves (Wilmington, DE), witnessed Smyrna's softball squad tip Conrad Science by a count of 6-2.
The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Caravel for a non-league match on Saturday, May 25. Smyrna will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Delmar (Delmar, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 15-1.
With the loss, Conrad Science moves to 12-8 on the season.
