Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Johnson Creek Bluejays (Johnson Creek, WI) and the visiting Hilbert Wolves (Hilbert, WI), witnessed Johnson Creek's softball squad tip Hilbert by a count of 8-1.
The Bluejays now sport a 23-4 record. They play next when they travel to Oakfield for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 28. Johnson Creek will face a Oaks squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Cambria-Friesland (Cambria, WI). The Oaks record now stands at 25-3.
With the loss, Hilbert moves to 8-13 on the season.
