The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) and the visiting St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), saw Birch Run's baseball team gain a win over St. Charles by a tally of 9-0.

The Panthers (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes enter the Tri-Valley - 8 battle with a 15-8 record. In their last battle, Garber prevailed over All Saints Central (Bay City, MI), 7-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI) in a Mid-State battle, on Tuesday, May 27. St. Charles will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Vandals enter the battle with a 11-9 record after their 6-0 league loss to Fulton (Middleton, MI).
