Iowa High School Baseball - Keota defeats Twin Cedars

In Friday's non-league game, the host Keota Eagles baseball team scored a nice 14-6 win over the Twin Cedars Sabers.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA). The Warhawks go into the South Iowa Cedar game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, North Mahaska was overwhelmed by Baxter (Baxter, IA), 10-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Sabers play the Seymour Warriors (Seymour, IA) in a Bluegrass - East game, on Tuesday, May 27. Twin Cedars will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to Interstate 35 (Truro, IA).
