The Lockport Porters baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Romeoville Spartans to 2 in the Porters non-league win on Friday.
The Porters now own a 22-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marist for a non-league test on Saturday, May 24. Lockport will clash with a RedHawks team coming off a 3-3 non-league Lyons (LaGrange, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 19-13.
With the defeat, Romeoville drops to 21-14 on the year. The Spartans host Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to clash with the Foxes in a non-league test on Thursday, May 29. The Foxes go into the test with a record of 16-15.
