Massachusetts High School Softball - Maynard sneaks past Clinton

The Maynard Tigers (Maynard, MA) softball nipped the visiting Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA), 2-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murdock for a non-league outing on Monday, May 26. Maynard will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 20-4 non-league loss to Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Clinton moves to 6-7 on the season. The Gaels host Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 24. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 12-0. Tantasqua Regional won 14-4 in their recent non-league outing against Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA)
