Indiana High School Softball - Delta knocked off by New Palestine

May 23, 2025: Muncie, IN 47303

In Friday's league test, the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Dragons meet the Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 24. New Palestine will attempt to advance on its 21-4 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 20-9 record after their 10-0 league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN).

The Eagles (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Jay County toppled Richmond (Richmond, IN), 25-3, in a non-league test.
