Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA), 15-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Union Area improves its record to 18-2 on the year.

The Rockets now hold a 10-7 record.

This game is a part of the 2025 WPIAL Softball Championship (Pennsylvania) - Class 1A tournament
