The Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) softball routed the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), 9-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 33-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coal City for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 27. Seneca will encounter a Coalers team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 18-12.
