The Monadnock Huskies triumphed over the visiting Newfound Regional Bears softball squad by a count of 15-3 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Huskies meet the Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Tuesday, May 27. Monadnock will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record.
The Bears (2-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Mountaineers enter the Division III challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Berlin was routed by Gilford (Gilford, NH), 11-6, in a league challenge.
