California High School Softball - Port of Los Angeles sneaks past Verdugo Hills

The Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA) softball nipped the host Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Polar Bears now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle Rock for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 28. Port of Los Angeles will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Verdugo Hills moves to 9-11 on the season.
