In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) baseball squad edged the visiting Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH), by a final score of 2-1.
With the win, Buckeye Valley upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Barons travel to Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH) to battle the Johnnies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 26. The Johnnies come into the challenge with a record of 19-6. Johnstown-Monroe won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH)
With the defeat, Highland falls to 5-5 on the season.
