Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Floyd Central upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Highlanders travel to New Albany (New Albany, IN) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 27. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 14-13. New Albany won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN)

With the defeat, Bedford North Lawrence falls to 17-11 on the season.
