The Ellsworth Eagles baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Hawks go into the Class B North match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Hermon was overwhelmed by Nokomis (Newport, ME), 2-0, in a league match.
The Eagles (4-10) will now prepare for their match against Central (East Corinth, ME). The Red Devils go into the Class C North match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Central was overwhelmed by Lee Academy (Lee, ME), 7-6, in a non-league match.
