Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) and the visiting Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA), saw Scranton Prep's baseball squad edge Hanover Area by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Cavaliers play the Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 26. Scranton Prep will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a 13-8 record after their 11-1 league win over Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
