Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), 16-4 in a league test.

The Falcons now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Yarmouth Academy for a Class C test on Friday, May 26. Freeport will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-4 league win over Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME) in a Class C test, on Friday, May 26. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Rangers come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Noble (Berwick, ME).
