South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sobos now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Orangeville for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 26. South Beloit will face a Broncos squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 29-2.

With the loss, East Dubuque falls to 11-17 on the campaign.
