In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Glen Lake Lakers (Maple City, MI) softball team overwhelmed the host Mesick Bulldogs (Mesick, MI), by a margin of 8-0.
With the triumph, Glen Lake moves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Lakers travel to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI) to play the Trojans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 30. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 25-6. Traverse City Central won 7-5 in their recent league contest against Petoskey (Petoskey, MI)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 25. Mesick will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record.
