Indiana High School Baseball - Jay County can't hold off New Castle

In Friday's non-league contest, the host New Castle Trojans baseball squad scored a close 13-12 win over the Jay County Patriots.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 27. New Castle will attempt to better on its 7-20 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 19-8 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Yorktown (Yorktown, IN).

The Patriots now sport a 13-12 record.
