The St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) softball routed the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL), 21-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (16-10) will now prepare for their bout against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors go into the non-league challenge with a 20-14 record. In their last challenge, De La Salle defeated Hinsdale South (Darien, IL), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, Kennedy falls to 19-9 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Victoria Soto (Chicago, IL) to face the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 29. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 14-1. Victoria Soto lost 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lisle (Lisle, IL)
