The South Fork Cubs softball squad (Miranda, CA), was routed 7-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA)

With the triumph, Miramonte improves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Matadors travel to McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 28. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 15-13. McKinleyville won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Clear Lake (Lakeport, CA)

The Cubs now hold a 18-7 record.
