The Forrest Rockets routed the visiting Adamsville Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Rockets (18-9) will now prepare for their battle against Alcoa (Alcoa, TN). The Tornadoes go into the non-league battle with a 24-8 record. In their last battle, Alcoa held off Community (Unionville, TN), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cardinals now possess a 23-8 record. They play next when they travel to Summertown for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 25. Adamsville will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Community (Unionville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 23-7.
