Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) and the visiting Lincoln Golden Lions (Gahanna, OH), witnessed Lancaster's softball squad tip Lincoln by a count of 1-0.
The Golden Gales now sport a 24-1 record. They play next when they travel to Watkins Memorial for a non-league match on Friday, May 27. Lancaster will face a Warriors squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 27-2.
With the loss, Lincoln moves to 28-3 on the season.
