The Winfield Generals softball team scored 1 runs and limited the visiting Oak Glen Golden Bears to 0 in the Generals non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Winfield improves its record to 23-5 on the year.
In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 25. Oak Glen will attempt to improve on its 27-3 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 20-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV).
