The Amherst County Lancers crushed the visiting Salem Spartans baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lancers now possess a 18-3 record. They take the field next when they host Glass for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 30. Amherst County will face a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 14-7.
