Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Narrows upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Green Waves travel to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to battle the Maroons in a non-league test on Monday, May 29. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 11-9. George Wythe won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Highland (Monterey, VA)
With the defeat, Grayson County falls to 13-11 on the season.
