In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) baseball squad triumphed over the host Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), by a final score of 11-1.
With the win, Lee Academy upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Pandas host Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to battle the Howlers in a Class D North challenge on Friday, May 26. The Howlers come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Penobscot Valley won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME)
With the defeat, Penquis Valley falls to 2-9 on the season. The Patriots travel to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to battle the Pirates in a Class C North challenge on Friday, May 26. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Piscataquis lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME)
