Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bears face the Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 30. Union will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The G-Men enter the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Gate City (Gate City, VA).
The Bearcats now have a 7-10 record.
