New Jersey High School Softball - Donovan Catholic bounces Our Lady of Mercy Academy

Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers (Newfield, NJ), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Griffins now own a 28-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 30. Donovan Catholic will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Our Lady of Mercy Academy falls to 7-5 on the campaign.
