St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans battle the Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 28. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 30-8 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 24-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Geneva (Geneva, IL).
With the loss, Guilford drops to 20-2 on the campaign.
