Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ogden for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 25. Southeast Valley will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Carroll falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Greene County (Jefferson, IA) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Greene County won 12-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
