The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), saw Loyola's volleyball squad beat Redondo Union by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Loyola upgrades its record to 16-0 on the year. The Cubs travel to Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA) to play the Sailors in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 29. The Sailors go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Newport Harbor won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA)
The Sea Hawks now own a 10-3 record.
