Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), 14-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 22-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Munster (Munster, IN) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, May 28. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 21-4. Munster won 16-0 in their recent non-league test against East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN)

With the defeat, Hammond Morton falls to 10-8 on the season.
