North Stafford Wolverines (Stafford, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Riverside Ram (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 31. North Stafford will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Ram enter the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Brooke Point (Stafford, VA).
The Colonels now have a 11-5 record.
