Dodgeland Trojans (Juneau, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Shoreland Lutheran Pacers (Somers, WI), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Racine Lutheran for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. Dodgeland will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 16-8.
With the loss, Shoreland Lutheran falls to 9-3 on the campaign.
