Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Three Lakes/Phelps (Three Lakes, WI), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newman for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. Edgar will battle a Fighting Cardinals squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Three Lakes/Phelps falls to 2-1 on the campaign.
