Wautoma Hornets (Wautoma, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southern Door Eagles (Brussels, WI), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now sport a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valders for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 31. Wautoma will face a Vikings squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Chilton (Chilton, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 14-6.
With the loss, Southern Door falls to 2-5 on the campaign.
